Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

Located on the banks of the River Lea in East London, Bow River Village is our modern development of one, two and three-bedroom homes.

East London and the Bow neighbourhood has plenty to offer in terms of green spaces, entertainment, shopping and restaurants. One of the highlights is The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Opened for the 2012 London Olympics, the park is just a twenty-minute walk from Bow River Village and has plenty to offer locals and tourists alike.

One of the park’s main features is the London Aquatic Centre, designed by architect Zaha Hadid. Famous for being home to countless world records and dramatic races during the 2012 games, the centre is now open to the public and offers the best aquatic facilities, including swimming lessons, diving and family fun sessions, under its iconic wave-like roof.

The Olympic Park is also home to the world’s longest and tallest tunnel slide; The ArcelorMittal Orbit. Designed by Sir Anish Kapoor and Cecil Balond, the structure combines awe-inspiring city views, with fun and modern art. Not for the faint-hearted, the
ArcelorMittal Orbit also has a thrilling tunnel slide and the UK’s highest freefall abseil.

If you don’t fancy swimming or a heart-clenching slide, the park’s gardens are the perfect place to sit and watch the world go by, and feature intricate displays of plants sourced from all over the world, as well as a Great British Garden dedicated to the nation’s horticultural heritage.
